A friend came across some old bottles of vodka and cognas, unbroken seals. I have to admit they look great, they definitely don't make stuff like this anymore.
I told him he can't sell them on Kijiji or ebay. Any suggestions? They are some nice looking old bottles, and full.

Screw caps will keep for a long time. If they are 50+ year old bottles with the corks they may have dried up and let out a lot of alcohol. If they have the old corks with the tax stamp seals, wiggle them to see if the seal is good. If the seals are not good then the bottles are a shelf decoration. Alcohol does not age in the bottle.

An older relative gave me a bar full of booze and mix from the 70's and 80's. The spirits are good as long as the seal is still in tact, however I wouldn't risk any liquors as they may be bad.

What is cool is that I have a few of the smaller bottle of Crown Royal Whiskey with the paper label across the top of the bottle and the little purple crown royal bags they came with. As a kid, those purple bags were great for marbles.

per the OP, either drink or gift to someone who would enjoy.

I had an few old bottles that had cork seals. The shame of it all was the cork had dried out and basically fell apart when I opened them. A shame, really, as they're not like wine, meant to be stored on their side.

If it's bad you can usually tell, I'd say just drink it, it could be nice honestly. For selling them tho I think just on a person to person basis would be the best, not online etc

If you were to sell online ( no matter how ) wouldn't you be breaking LCBO laws?
then get arrested?

If the corks have dried out but there is still some flavor in the liquid, one way to attempt a salvage is to add vodka to replenish the alcohol.
