The band will be performing at this years' Qwebec Expo @ the Mariott in downtown Montreal. Aught to be a blast! It's a webmaster's convention that's held every year.

The band will be performing several songs along with providing the music cues to introduce each award winner.

Then there's all the parties afterwards... :D Gotta luv them Montreal women!

The show was a riot!

Technical gaffes on the part of the sound crew aside, it was a great show.

The sound man blew up the console (not quite sure if he knew what he was doing...) and we almost pulled out of the gig as a result. 5 minutes to show time, we did a quick sound check once the new console arrived (I demanded that it be replaced - they tried to convince the band to go on after letting the blown console cool down from an over-heat but I was dead against it).

Had a Spinal Tap moment when we were hauling all the gear into the Mariott. It's a huge hotel and the belly of the beast is a myriad of halls (some of which led to mysterious dead ends...). Needless to say, after Ben Driller (bass player) got directions to get to the stage from security, we got totally lost.

Ended up on a freight elevator and we wandered from floor to floor, eventually ending up in the hotel kitchen much to the surprise of the sous chef. We pissed ourselves laughing all the way back to the stage. Poor Ben will never live that one down. lol

The room the band performed in was gorgeous. Kind'a like a miniature Massey Hall without the row seating.

We went down with a stripped down version of the band. Gunner took the stage as the front man as Joey was out west on tour with his original band (can't say the name but they've had a few hits in Canada and are an established touring act in the big clubs).

Also, due to budget, we took just one Fluffette. The promoter agreed to pay substantially more for next year so that we can have our full line up. They were blown away by the band!

The after party was a tad lame compared to what we all experienced in Los Angeles. Needless to say, a couple of the guys (won't name who) managed to wander off with a couple of web porn chics and didn't return to the hotel till well after 9am the next day. Hmmmm....... Were they smiling? You bet!:D

Now it's time to hunker down and get to work on the new CD (November street date). I've decided to pull the original CD as it is no longer representative of the new line up. Further, the new material is so much better that we're dropping 5 songs from the track list and adding the newer compositions to flesh out the CD. The remaining tracks of the old disc will be re-recorded with the new line-up.

The band will be heading back to the left coast in less than 3 months for a SoCal tour of the clubs with another performance on Playboy, KSEX, etc.

Jim Monaco and Jane Harbury (major industry PR agents) will be heading up our team of publicists to capitalize on what has been achieved over the recent past. Also joining the team is Lenny Stout, renown music industry scribe).

Looks like the train is ready to leave the station. To say that this is a very exciting time for us is a gross understatement!

TIME TO CRANK THE WANK!!!!!!!!!
