2 escorts found dead in New Westminster, B.C., building
Homicide investigators have been called in to probe the suspicious deaths of two online escorts in the same New Westminster, B.C., apartment complex.
The first woman, Jill Lyons, 45 was found dead in her apartment on the 200 block of 11th Street on August 12. The cause of death was unclear and police are still awaiting the results of a toxicology report.
The second woman, Karen Nabors, 48, was found dead in her home in the same apartment building on Sunday. Police say evidence indicated foul play may have been a factor in the death.
Police say the women knew each other, and as a result of the similar nature and geography of the two deaths, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has taken over both investigations.
"Investigators know both women were engaged in a high risk lifestyle and were working as online escorts," said Sgt. Jennifer Pound in statement.
"IHIT’s priority is to reach out to all escorts and remind them of the risks involved and to take extra precaution as it is unclear at this point why, or even if, they are in fact being targeted."

About a year or so ago, two escorts were murdered in and around the GTA. In one case the man arrested was her "roommate" and in the other case the man arrested was a "friend". No clients were involved.
Still, though.... It seems wise to me to exercise prudent judgement no matter what the contingency. Sincerely, Jon .
