I don't think this one belongs in the political forum.

In his appearance today on The View, Obama said he didn't know who Jersey Shore's Snooki was. This raised some eyebrows, since Obama made a joke about Snooki and other Jersey Shore cast members in the spring:

I thought going on The View was different, but the other night on Larry King, Ben Stein said he couldn't understand what the hub-ub was all about.
His opinion was that the show has intelligent dialogue and conversations, essentially saying the fuss was all about nothing but just reaching.

All those kids get their fame from a show, had she said Snooki form Jersey shore, he may have recognized her. All reality TV personalities have to be referred to with their show.

I never even heard of Jersey Shore till last week when I saw Season 1 for sale at the video store. I had never heard of Snooki either until she was brought up on The View. She doesn't even show up in the cast list. Anyway, it looks like pure crap.
