O.J. Simpson was arrested last night for his involvement in the armed robbery of a sports memorabilia agent. He has been formally charged with two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit a crime and burglary with a firearm. The district attorney in the case is expected to file more charges today, ultimately charging Simpson with seven felonies and one gross misdemeanor. Simpson faces up to 30 years in jail for each robbery count. He is now in a Las Vegas jail, being held without bail. Brietbart News says:
Simpson was taken away from The Palms casino-hotel by plainclothes officers a day after the arrest of a golfing buddy who police say accompanied him with a gun in the Thursday night holdup. Handcuffed and wearing a golf shirt and jeans, Simpson was placed in an SUV. Simpson, 60, has said he and other people were retrieving items that belonged to him. Simpson has said there were no guns involved and that he went to the room at the casino only to get stolen mementos that included his Hall of Fame certificate and a picture of the running back with J. Edgar Hoover. Police did not allege that Simpson personally carried a weapon in the incident.
Somehow there's even an audio tape taken in the room where you hear OJ healing and screaming at the guy. But there's nothing really good on it. He doesn't chop off anyone's head, and once you've chopped off someone's head, that's pretty much the standard. It would be like going to the Daytona 500 and instead of a bunch of cars there's just a water skiing squirrel.
Thats like over a hundred years in jail !

No bail means he could be held in custody for weeks or months.

I get the feeling the judge has it in for him, no bail for someone who isnt exactly a flight risk

They did and they are. Mr Goldman has said that some proceeds are being given to OJ and Nicole's children. He feels the book is a confession and re named it accordingly.alienencounters said:
