Central Park is a pretty big place. Can you be more specific? East side? West side? Columbus Circle (bottom of Central Park)? Harlam (top of Central Park)? Also, what type of food are you looking for and what is your price range?

Columbus Circle. I know of Blue Ribbon which is supposed to be pretty good.
Anything else that is recent and trendy?

Well, if money is no object, I would recommend two restaurants in the Time Warner Center: Masa (www.masanyc.com) and Per Se (www.perseny.com).

Personally, I'm a steak kind of guy so my favorite restaurant is Del Frisco's (www.delfriscos.com) (near 30 Rock). There's also a decent and not too expensive Japanese place in midtown (www.sushizen-ny.com‎) that I like (and I'm not a sushi-lover so you know they're good).

The beauty of NY is that you get any type of food that you want. So if you're looking for a different type of food (Italian, seafood, Indian), just let me know and maybe I can suggest something.

Has been highly recommended to me as well, however I have been told it can be tough to get in to depending on the time/day of the week.
