Hello,

Has anyone here experienced a nudist resort? Or practice a Naturist lifestyle?

I am curious to know what it's like to be in one of those places. I visited a few Websites and I notice they cater to all kinds people. Whether you are a family of 5 or a single person. I find it to be really interesting. I have been to a few nude beaches un Europe. But I just find this to be way different.

Does anybody have any stories or experiences about visiting a nude resort? And how did it feel as a first timer.

Or for those who never been to one? Would you visit one?

absolutely. While I am no Adonis physically I am very comfortable with my body (just ask anyone who was in 1st year theatre or dance at York U in 00/01) and I think I would really enjoy a nudist environment, for it's non-sexual elements as well as the sexual ones (which of course intrigue me)

That is a great story M&M and thanks for the post!!

I just find it fascinating that some parents would consider bringing there kids to these resorts. I don't know if I would have the balls to do that. But to some parents it's normal I guess.

I like the idea that you don't have to pack alot of cloths to go to these places. All you need is a toothbrush!!'

I love the nudist lifestyle. I first went to a nudist park in my early 20's out of curiosity and since the park was having a "Miss Nude USA" weekend and you could buy a ticket and just come in!! Anyway, I took it off and I've loved it ever since. I can't wait for summers now and I hope the weekends don't have rain in the forecast. Nude volleyball is awsome and brings out a lot of people. There is one tournament I go to in Penn. at the end of summer that brings out people from across N. America, enough for 50 teams. It feels great to be nude outdoors and I admit I do try and glimpse some of the ladies without being noticed!!!! Believe it or not, I'm booking on a nude cruise this coming winter on a Carnival ship with 2000 nude passengers. What a trip that's going to be.....Try it. You'll like it!

By the way, I still find it to be a strange feeling when I'm at a nudist resort and I find myself taking a shower and there are ladies and even teen girls next to me showering as well...Nothing wrong with it since it's a family nudist park, but it still feels kind of strange..

Also, I'm amazed when I see young teen girls swimming and playing volleyball with a bunch of nude men without even blinking an eye or giving their nudity a single thought. Well, they have been brought up in the lifestyle since they were babies, so....

I am totally intrigued, but unfortunately, i would not be able to stop staring. I still view nudity in a sexual light and that's fine by me

Oh man,

I don't think I'd better go.

I don't think i could handle nude teen girls.

The wife and I went to wreck beach in Vancouver a few years back. This is a clothing optional beach, not a resort or camp. For those who don't know Vancouver, it's right on the UBC campus. We had a fun time. On three or four occasions I was caught staring at a girl, but each of the girls just smiled. My wife was a little self consious about her figure at first, but very quickly got over any embarrassment. We'd go again, but never anywhere close to home, we don't want any chance of running into anyone we know.

I'll just add to my stuff on here that while I've never gone to a nude resort/beach, I was at Woodstock 99 and went nude several times there (and would flash on request when I wasnt) amd had no problem with it. I'll certainly admit that I would look at an attractive woman at a nude beach, but I think I would stop short of staring.

now that sounds like a plan provided there's a good guy-girl ratio, that is not the kind of sausage party you want to show up at.

I have been to a variety of nude resorts, from four seasons near Guelph, and family resorts in Florida with my kids, to adult oriented resorts in the US such as Paradise Lakes and Desert Shadows, to overtly sexual resorts such as Naked City LA and Nudes-A-Poppin at Ponderosa Sun Club.

There is a wide range of nude experiences, from family to swiinging, depending on what you are into. I find the family resorts somewhat creepy, as you know that some of the attendees are there to view naked children. I would not rush to return to a family nudist resort, particularly with my kids. Nudes-a-Poppin and Paradise Lakes I would definitely return to.

There is a Toronto based web site www.coccozella.com that is all about outdoor nudity, sexual and non-sexual, with a lots of pictures, but also event and site guides, etc.

I have owned a year round home in a nature park (ponderosa) for over 5 years. The lifestyle is wonderful , for familys as well as anyone else that likes the sun on their body. When the clothes come off we are all equal. Its not a place to parade around a set of bought boobs ect. That is not noticed what is is the inside of people. Its carefree.. warm and relaxing. There are no sexual predators there. Strangers are watched closely and there are no cameras allowed.Familys raise their children there and have stayed there for 2 or three generations. Is there swingers there? Of course but its not advertized. If you see one of your neighbours at a swing club you sat hello Its not practiced in your home area. Its very discreet, too many people confuse nudism and sex. Some people are afraid to go the first time because they are afraid perhaps they may get excited. You will find that its a natural atmosphere and it wont happen to you.as for down to earth people with no attitude you will find that there . I am aware there a swinger nudist resports out there and of course that is different. The two parks out #6 are both family parks with pools hottubs tennis golf.. and of course nude volleyball.

10 years ago I ended up on a nude beach with my girl. we agreed we were far from home and would see nobody ever again.... we went for it. nude beaches are now our primary goal in vacations alone and with the kids. as is fourseasons here in the summer.....go for it and enjoy.

At some resorts, like Hedonisms, or Desire, "popping" is perfectly acceptable, it is a sexual, adults only atmosphere. At family resorts like Four Seasons and Ponderosa, it is not. Though Ponderosa was hosting swinger nights on Saturday nights for a while.

Well put, flinstones. My one (actually two) opportunities to experience nudism came during my former life as a journalist. At the time, there were two nudist parks in York Region. One in East Gwillimbury, now long gone, and the other in King Township.

The second, Glen Echo Family Nudist Camp, is, according to the Highway 400 road sign near Aurora, still there. Spent a Sunday at each of the two camps and, while I liked to joke that I spent a lot time time looking people in the eye, the impressions I came away with and shared with my readers echo those of flintstone.

I interviewed a older retired gent, a young couple expecting their first baby (about the week after the interview), high school students, and many others just enjoying nature.

Of all the comments, this one stands out the most: "When we're here, we're all equal. Clothes tend to define a person. You can be a minister, cop, teacher or construction worker but here you're accepted as you."

That's the essence of what was said (20 years or so later, and I don't have my notes!!) and it still stands out.

These two camps were family only, no single men. If it's a lifestyle you've thought about, try it. It's an experience that will impact each person in a different and, I suspect, very positive way!

And yes, to answer the inevitable question, I was nude for both visits.

You are right they were, and although I am in the swinging lifestlye and have been for over 10 yearsI thought that they were in poor taste hosting them there. It is a family park. with kids that perhaps want to come to the club house to get ice cream or fries on a saturday night. and they can not because they are hosting a swingers dance. You try to explain that it isnt a sex park it is for gamilys and than they do something like that. A lot of full time residents were not happy with the situationand I also the summer people as well.
