If so great why do they need to leave their homeland and come all the way here? Answer: too many lions and not enough deer in Asia, this makes lions very hungry so they need to move to where deer are a plenty (guess who the deer is). Would they be doing so well if everyone else around them were Asian too?

You need to go back to highschool as you can't seem to comprehend the simple article.

To answer your question (which doesn't make much sense btw) of, "If so great why do they need to leave their homeland and come all the way here?"

This article is about Asians having highest income, being better educated, their values and their work ethics etc. Its not about Asia being SO GREAT, so I don't understand what makes you wonder why they leave their homeland to come to America.

Frosty, on this DM is bang on. He's not racist on this. The educational system and social social stigma, personally, professionally and familially, of failure make a difference. The 'exams from hell' are one such wall to defeat. You pass you're in the best schools, get to try for the best jobs, and the enter the best social circles (in their minds). You fail, you're not, although there are always exceptions. Is there a physical or neurological reason? I doubt it to any large degree.

being a CBA, i'll tell you growing up i envyed the other kids( white, black, italian) in my neighbourhood..they would have late curfew, hardly any rules, were allowed to date before 14..meanwhile i was stuck at home, practicing the violin, going to Kumon ,and also had a seperate tutor for science and english...my parents were smart for doing this eventhough i hated it at thte time..lol

one thing my parents did while raising me, is not become my friend...they were the boss...end of story...i think this is s real problem with modern canadian families...

This is one thing I disagree with. They shouldn't be your boss. They should be your parents and that sometimes means be a friend, a good friend and sometimes not.
