Saw her pic and a brief article about her in the Sun yesterday. Never really heard of her before, but DAMN, she looks good!

Unfortunately, good looks work against female comedians for some reason. Historically, it's been the less attractive ones that hace enjoyed the most success (i.e. carol burnett, rosie o' donnel, rosanne bar, sandra bernhart, elen degenerate)

Respectfully though, female comedians just aren't as funny. They just seem too tame and don't push the edge as much as male comedians.

The only one I found mildly amusing was Ellen DeGeneres, and she's, um, kind of a man anyway.

Check out Sarah Silverman. Her stuff is among the edgy-ist stuff I've ever seen from an male or female comic. Look her up on youtube and judge for yourself. Not only that but I think she ain't too bad looking either.

Margaret Cho is another one who can push the envelope (though nowhere near as good looking!)

Tina Fey is on a new sitcom called 30 Rock (Alec Baldwin and Tracy Morgan are on it as well)....

The show is pretty funny and definitely funnier than SNL (though that might not be saying much).....

Sarah Silverman's DVD Jesus is Magic is actually funny but I recommend Chaptering Forward past her musical bits which are spread through out the disk. But her actual stand up stuff is really funny...... hey she's pretty edgy.... nazi, jew, rape and sex jokes.

Jenanne Garofolo is pretty good too.

Margaret Cho is decent but hit or miss with me.

Kathy Griffin does a decent standup act. I think her reality TV show "My Life on the D-List" is hysterical.

Cho was really good early in her career (not including her disasterous sitcom of course) but her more recent material isn't up to par.
