Geez they really bother me .

Would it really take much to call and cancel,, considering that they had the time to call and book ?


Ive had a couple lately and it kinda bothers me ,
I travel from up North everyday to the city which can be time
consuming and some times difficult. I truely dont understand why some clients dont have the courtesy to at least call and cancel
so this way I or any SP can book someone else

Is anyone else going through this ?

Sorry you are going through this, especially seeing as you have to travel and all. That must really bother you even more severely.

BOOOO!

I think it is very disrespectful and a waste of your time when someone does that especially when they don't have the decency to call. What if you were to do the same thing to them it would be bad work ethics on your part. Or you would be unreliable.
People should atleast take the time to inform the SP of a cancellation.

Maybe you should find a way of collecting a deposit for your travel time or just a deposit plain and simple. Tell them they have to book 5 days to a week in advance when the travel distance is such and such a distance and to send a money order or something in the mail as a deposit. Just a suggestion.

Well even a cheque and he could leave the pay to the order of line blank sign it fill in the amount securely.. I am just wondering if there is a reasonable way to help her to avoid so many no shows.

Paypal account wouldnt last, it can't be used for these purposes. They are very strict.

Unfortunately, it's a fact of life for many sp's! It's the nature of the 'biz.' Some guys get 'cold feet at the last minute,' finances come into play,' the SO comes home early, a child gets sick.......somebody drops in unexpectedly at the last minute etc.etc.

It also happens to some clients....read some of the past threads where clients arrive and sp's are unavailable, double-booked or 'no-shows!'

It's happened to me too when the girl I booked was a 'no show!'

Regardless, it's abhorrent, rude and unsettling behaviour! Especially, for someone like Bella who commutes to the city everyday to take her appointments.

Bella is right! A courtesy call is all it would take........

paypal and 48 hour booking ahead of time..... i never do any work with out a deposit unless i am trying to get the client, since they called you looking for the work then u should get the deposit.

It's kind of elaborate, but if Paypal doesn't work, there are other agencies that are commonly used by adult web sites for purchasers make payments, or else you could use ebay! They have everything else there, why not SP's? No auction's necessarily.

I think that "no shows" are one of the reasons why SP's prefer to have regulars. With regulars you would have to believe that there would be a lot more courtesy involved.

You can't use paypal for anything adult related, from sex toys to adult website memberships. You might be able to get away with it for awhile, but one complaint and your account will be permanently frozen.

Oh ladies easy. It isn't just sp's who have to put up with rude behavior. Try being a salesman...flying across the country..arriving early with your whole multi-media set up.
Setting up in the board room and awaiting your clients.
And they have the gall to send down a secratary and tell you that your 100% confirmed presentation...would be inconvienent today.
Try re-schedualing next month!!!!
SP's provide a service...it is not a date..it is a service.
Somtimes somthing more important may come up in a customer's life..I agree it is polite to call and cancel...but it may not always be possible.
It's just part of business.

My response to Bella and no shows

Bella came to me a few weeks ago through another terb member looking for work. She didn't like the setup at another agency....yadayayada. We agreed she would start work the following day. She NO SHOWED. I recieved a call from her the day after, she "couldn't find my number" We then agreed she would start on the Monday. Monday came and went with out so much as a phone call. How unprofessional is that??? Not even to give me the professional courtesy of a phone call.
