Could I ask MPAs and SPs how frequently clients make an appointment and then don't show or cancel just before?

I see a lot of ladies posting that it is a problem and since I have never, and I would never do this I am curious how often it actually happens? What percentage of the time?

Thanks gypsy

no shows

I would say on average if we book 10 appointments 3 maybe 4 will actually show up. It is very frustrating and inconsiderate, but what can you do. Alot of people choose incalls because they cant see ladies at thier home so I can understand that they might not want to give out cell number but some ladies will not accept a booking unless you have a number to confirm and I totally understand that as well. As a matter of fact I have 2 individuals who call almost everyday and make an appointment they try to change the voice but LMAO I was not born yesterday. One guy called and booked 3 appointments in 1 day LOL pretty pathetic when this kind of action becomes a grown mans entertainment.

Wow

Shaneen,

I had no idea there were so many 'no shows'....you're right it is pretty pathetic that men would book an appointment with no intention of turning up. I guess they sit home and jerk-off while thinking that somewhere there is a lady waiting for them. Sad really.

No Shows

I would say my NO SHOWS run about 50%. About 1/3 actually call or write to cancell. The rest just don't show. A favorite trick in the Niagara Area, especially for an out-of-towner is to prebook 2 or 3 ladies and then pick one therefore being assured that they will indeed have a date. We are wizing up through and working together and passing the word. The worst thing is when you save time for a new customer and one of your regulars call and you turn them down only to have the new one not call. Sending a girl to a bogus address or hotel room is common too. Most clients are honest and fair and the unscrupulous ones just make it bad for them. Glad I had a chance to get this off my chest. Hugs, Maryln

Really Retired.....REALLY!
50% ? 3/10?

I don't understand how those numbers can be so high.
I consider a no show someone who books an appointment and does not show up (obviously) without calling or emailing to let me know.

Shit happens and appointments sometimes need to be cancelled but there is NO reason not to at least call and leave a brief message.

I would say for me about 1 in every 50 or so appointments are no shows. And I would say that out of every 15 or so appointments booked about 1 ends up cancelling with some sort of notice.

Shit can happen...

I think it's clear that in this hobby, as in most walks of life, shit can happen. Sometimes, the shit is unexpected.

I don't think it's surprising that sometimes appointments have to be cancelled. That applies to SPs as well as clients. In these circumstances, the person cancelling should do their best to give the other as much notice as possible. This is common decency and applies to other business dealings so why not apply it here as well?

If an SP called me to cancel I would take it in stride. If she cancelled on me repeatedly, I might decide to look elsewhere but one or two cancellations over the course of an ongoing association is not a deal-breaker.

As I'm not an SP (obviously), I can only assume that a client cancellation can be frustrating as it represents lost revenue and lost opportunities. I wouldn't blame an SP for declining to book me if I cancelled frequently but I would expect her to understand if it was a rare occurrence and I made every effort to offer her as much warning as I could.

If we expect nothing but perfection all the time, we're all bound to be disappointed.

Phone in for confirmation

My guys book with me a couple of days in advance, as I only work evenings and weekends. I give them my cell phone after they have booked and insist that the call the morning of the appointment to confirm. They aren't given the location until that time. In that way, I know that a no-call will mean some free-time later. It certainly doesn't take more than an extra two minutes to answer that call and relay where to meet and it saves me sitting around waiting for the knock on the door that never comes.
