LOL, what "international empire"? Subtract the building that license his name (he owns none of those building) that leaves 5 golf courses and 3 building outside the USA that I could identify. Of the five golf courses he has partners in 3 of them and 2 of the buildings according to my Google research. Trump is NOT the player he tells everyone he is. Further, his holding are poorly diversified and his net worth has shrank as a result. $1B of value erased in the last year alone.
