More than two dozen people are under arrest in connection with a police operation that busted several massage parlours.

Officers raided nine parlours around Danforth Avenue and O'Connor Drive on Friday.

Police also seized $25,000 dollars during the investigation.

Police will reveal more information about the arrests later today.

Still think when the police go after InCalls and MP, they are picking on the "poor" people. The rich guys who can get a hotel room are A OK, they have nothing to worry about since they are not breaking the law.

The law needs to be change, to make the law fair to all, not all guys can afford an extra $50-$100 on top for a room, and those are the ones who get busted...or the ladies who are dating them.

Investigators allege the establishments were fronts for prostitutes and the kinds of undesirable crowd they attract. It took a while for them to sort everything out but now authorities have finally released the results of their hard work: 25 people charged with 81 offences, including keeping and owning a common bawdy house.

The businesses that were closed down include:

Holistic Senses Spa - 837 O'Connor Dr.,
Sky Spa - 985 O'Connor Dr.,
Rubyna's Salon and Spa - 1880 O'Connor Dr.,
Devon Spa - 1410 Danforth Ave.,
Avita Day Spa - 1834 Danforth Ave.,
La Bella Health Spa - 1904 Danforth Ave.,
Natural Spa - 2054 Danforth Ave.,
Zina's Day Spa - 2124 Danforth Ave.,
Suzi's Spa - 2318 Danforth Ave.

Cops know they won't stop the problem altogether but hope they've at least made a dent in one neighbourhood.

Nothing ridiculous about getting rid of silly sex laws that allow LE to arrest consenting adults engaged in sex. There was a time when it was illegal to be homo but they got rid of that law. Are you for real? Everybody knows the risks when they participate in this kind of activity. This is more about dealing with neighbourhood concerns than anything else. If I lived in this neighbourhood and there was an increase of traffic and riff raff coming in, I'd probably want the police to do the same.

This will likely not happen in Agincourt when the chineses just seem to accept it as any ordinary regular business/service. It a place for a few of their pretty girls ladies to make some good coin. Only if its real prostitution or people-smuggling will they complain and get action taken.
