His new film Mandy, about a cult de-programer, is causing massive buzz at the Sundance Film Festival. He's an unhinged sort, he spent and gambled lavishly which got him into trouble with the IRS. To stay out of jail St Nicolas took on as much work as he could get - most of it of the ripe gorgonzola variety. That doesn't take away from the fact that he is an amazing actor of the operatic kind. When he gets a good role he can be mesmerizing. 2018 Could be his year of redemption.
