Jovan Haye, a 300+ lb defensive tackle with Tampa Bay Buccaneers was fined by the NFL for doing a cartwheel in celebration after an interception. Shouldn't they just be impressed a 330 lb guy can do a cartwheel?
"The celebrations -- I guess they don't want you to have much fun at all,'' coach John Gruden said. "I don't disagree or want to get fined any money, but a guy does a cartwheel -- I don't know, I've got to look into exactly what we did wrong and then I'll have a comment for you tomorrow. Our team is an excited bunch. They root for each other and when they get an impact play like that, we have a hard time controlling ourselves here in Tampa and we apologize sincerely for that.'' There are a lot of things going on that you've got to have seven different lawyers to figure out what the hell you should and shouldn't do on the field, really.
