Fucking NFL ,They just moved DA BEARS- Packers game to Sunday nite. I hate flex scheduleing. It might be great for telivision but it sucks for fans that actually go to the games. Damn Packers just had to win last Thursday to stay alive for the playoffs. I have had that funny feeling when the schedule came out this year that there was a possibilty of this happening because everyone thinks this will be Farves last year and the NFL would like to have as many fans see his last game as they can.Hopefully Da BEARS give him the beatdown he deserves and destroys all hope of the Pack making the playoffs.:p

I also hope Da Bears give Favre the beatdown he deserves. I use to like the guy and thought he was a good quarterback. At the end of every season there is constant speculation if he is going to retire. If you don't want to retire, then just come out and say it. Stop making it news.

Why all the rundown on Brett? He's a good guy and still is an efficient QB...

Romo making the ProBowl over Favre is a tradegy(especially if this is his last year)

the flex sched was put in so we wouldnt be subjected to the Cowboys every freaking Monday night, a team that hasnt one a playoff game in a decade but the way the media goes on about them ya would think they have won 5 straight super bowls, but one thing that has gotten out of hand is the games all over the place, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, hard to keep track.

flex schudleing shows how little reguard the NFL has for the home fans

The NFL treats us all like we live in Cleveland.

Flex scheduling is all about TV. The NFL should be more concerned with parity between confrences. This year a 10-6 record may not get a team into the AFC playoffs while a 7-9 record could get a team into the NFC playoffs.

He's a PACKER and BEAR fans hate Cheeseheads. :p I think hell is about to freeze over. I actually am in agreement with Papa Smurf on something, wonders never cease. The bad thing about flex scheduling is in week 17 the nfl only had to give 6 days notice. I know people who have tickets from out of town and have had flights booked for months now they all have to scramble to make other plans or eat their tickets. Hotel rooms are non existent downtown since its new years eve, you have a bunch of Packer fans that make the drive down and now being a nite game the odds of more people driving drunk, Bear and Packer fans to get home just increased. I think the NFL screwed up royaly by even having a night game on nye no matter where its at.

I like the flex scheduling, generally you get a pretty good match up. Who wants to see the Raiders play on Sunday night (usually it is twice a year) and I am a Raider fan.

Making people in places like Chicago sit outside at night on New Year's eve would never have happened in Rozelle's NFL. Rozelle also decreed they wouldn't play on Christmas Day after the famous Dolphins-Chiefs game in 1971. Now they play two. The Super Bowl is now in February. Give me the good old days.

I dont mind sitting outside watching the game what pisses me off is its new years eve.I actually hope DA BEARS get the prime time playoff game on Sat. the 13th. Now DA BEARS have come up with new rules just for this game. All beer sales cut off at halftime and after the game there will be no post game tailgaiting. They are telling the fans we cant even stay in the parking lots and watch the fireworks on Navy Pier. It is going to be a mad house when it comes to traffic, you will have a couple hundred thousand people coming downtown to see the fireworks and another 65,000 trying to get get out of downtown. I can see it now a 20 minute drive is gonna take 2 hours and i will be sitting in my truck in traffic at midnight. Happy New Year everybody

Actually, today will wind up showing the downside of flex scheduling

Because of last night's game on the idiotic NFL Network - the Panthers, Falcons, Rams were all eliminated and the Packers have to have about 8 games go there way (including Detroit beating Dallas) to have a shot.

The end result - more meaningless games - in which many pro players will mail in their perfomance. Whereas, if they had played all five of those games at the same time, there would be incentive for all of the teams in the playoff hunt to perform.
