NFB Pays $1,000,000 for Prohibitionist Propaganda

Osgoode Law School professor Alan Young writes that the National Film Board (NFB) paid near a Million Dollars to the producers of the prohibitionist propaganda film Buying Sex. That's taxpayers money.

I thought Alan Young was the Hero To Hobbyists. He's one of the few legal professionals to actually speak up for us. And no one at all cares?! How can a drunk driving cracked out entitled idiot have more fans in this forum than Alan Young.

Young is entirely right. This statement is truly offensive and very typical of people who view paid sex through a single lens:

“I think we have to be very strategic and firm. It is one thing to be sympathetic to men [Trisha’s revelation] but not to johns, or to Alan Young, who are part of the continuum and systemic sexism and racism that includes Pickton”.16
