In the spring it was just right wing fear mongering, then it became "transitory" - when they couldn't deny it anymore. Now, it's Putin or "world wide" or any other excuse his sitters can think of. Garbage "President ", garbage administration, garbage Congress- a trifecta- the coalition of losers.

Are you still too worried about Putin starting a nuclear war?
Or is this more the general malaise about how the Oath Keepers couldn't fix the US election results so we are all doomed?

The inflation spike took root long before Putin, so I don't know how they expect to fool anyone.

Warning signs of impending inflation was evident as early as December 2020! I can understand not acting on it then because COVID and the impact of vaccines was still very much a question mark, but as 2021 progressed the Fed should definitely have acted. Inflation jumped above target as early as April, and by summer 2021 it became obvious inflation was not transient. Too many supply disruptions, and demand far outstripping supply.

Central banks did us dirty and acted at least 6 months too late. They are to blame for this mess, and completely failed in their mandate.

Boris and Joe (and Justin, for that matter) bought into the Green New Deal idiocy of curbing the supply of fossil fuels at a time when demand was rapidly increasing. So, yes, reducing supply when demand is growing leads to higher prices.

Also, pumping more money than needed into an economy that is already growing as lockdown measures ended will have an inflationary effect.

These climate warriors aren't solely responsible for the soaring rate of inflation. But they are far from blameless.

It's called basic economics. 👍
