I already have a hotel booked, I just don't know what room number they will assign to me when I arrive in Toronto.

Dude, stay away from providers who are utterly pedantic about getting every freaking detail about your life in order to make an appointment to your hotel. They most likely be equally pedantic when it comes to offering a nice session.

I have been there and believe me, it's not worth the hassle. It usually happens in the US but in I have seen it increasingly in Canada specially with indies. They want to know your full name you used to book the hotel (if you are traveling on business, most likely you registered under your real name), Room number, some even ask to see your ID when showing up.

I am totally for both, the companion and my security and discretion but there are many other equally beautiful providers that are more reasonable.

I once was traveling to Vancouver and called the girl, I told her the hotel name and she said: no problem, send me a txt when you know he room number. Done. Had a great session.

If she doesn't feel comfortable making an appointment knowing the hotel (assuming you're not staying at a roach motel and you are going to hold up your appointment) then move on, call another girl or reputable agency. She is as much wasting your time.

I have just told them I'd give them a call on the day of after I check in. Has not been a problem, but then again, I rarely do outcalls.

You are just making a reservation for now so its ok to just say which hotel you will be staying in. Thats perfectly fine and most providers won't ask more details. Reconfirm the appointment one day prior to your arrival. Then, after you check-in, call the agency/girl for 'final confirmation'. Done.

Enjoy !

As well.. it helps to have a "plan B" in case you get cancelled on (it happens).

My approach to booking ahead. Never a problem. I tell them what hotel I will be staying in, so they can make driving plans etc.
