Whole New-York State is pretty expensive in every respect!

Deer. Lots of deer. Although when I went, I drove pretty much straight south through New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, etc... I saw lots of dead deer along the side of the highways. Imagine they were all hit by cars or trucks. I even saw some that look like they were hit by transport trucks as there was nothing more than a big bloody mess on the highway. I'd estimate I saw anywhere between 25 to 30 deer carcuses along the highway. About maybe 8 of them in New York state. Anywhere out in the country between cities, you'll find them. They seem to thrive out there. So be careful or you could be looking at a pretty expensive car repair bill.

I stayed in Elizabeth new jersey, one subway stop from downtown New York, saved my money on the hotel room for more fun. Checked out a few strip clubs but you get more bang for your buck in T.O. ... that's why T.O. is moving to play for the Bills, anyway. Most fun we had was with the ladies at the Hawaiian Tropic Restaurant ( like Hooters).

We drove but made very few stops along the way<will have to check out that club in Rochester next run, off topic a bit but if you want to see the Statue of Liberty book tickets before you go.

When I read the title of the thread, the first thing I thought of were the amount of dead deer along the side of the roads.

I made the trip about 5 years ago.

Expensive and very different from Toronto. If you really want to enjoy your SC experience there, bring lot's of $$$$$$

Side trip?

NYC is on of the most expensive places to hobby on earth. However, about 90 min to the west in Pennsylvania there is fun to be had if you like AMPs. There are others but non-AMP usually charge more for tip and not as good service. Google "Spa Hunters" and check the "other areas within Pennsylvania" listings. Not sure if you need to register to read but you do to post. No charge site.

My 2 faves are Aries Spa in Allentown and Oriental Massage Therapy in Hereford, about 20 min further. I have always seen above average girls and love the table showers. Usual door fees 60/70 include TS. Tips are usually 100 for top level services. Start with TS, then sauna, then massage and fun. They rotate girls among spas in PA/NY/NJ so I have no specific names. Check the reviews and see who's getting rave reviews.

The have lots of listings for NY and NJ so considering the travel and time it may make sense to find one there. The further from NYC you go, the cheaper it gets. I have only been to the 2 I listed so check the reviews. I have found that site very useful and fairly accurate but YMMV as always.

If you decide to go to PA send me a PM with review as I'll be heading down soon :D Have fun! It's not quite as desolate a scene in the US as we are led to believe .......

The only strip club I visited in NYC was boring. I recall, you couldn't get a lap dance in private, and something about not allowed a lap dance if you have been served alcohol.

I haven't made the trek by car, but hear there is patch of highway for a couple of hours south of the Ontario border that is a regular speed trap for Canadian motorists.

Use to frequent the various joints from 1988-97 before they "sanitized" Times Square and 9/11 so my knowledge is like 12 years old. You have to know your way around. I did through sheer experience. The SC's are all rip-off joints. Heard that "Scores" recently closed (no regrets, they deserve to be closed).

Did they also keep their bottom on? Is Sex World across from the Port Authority bus terminal still there? They use to have porn stars and regular house girls and no, they don't turn off the lights so you can't see. The ladies did "insertion" scenes with dildos. Hanging around that area are men who would offer women (usually white girls from Minnesota) for your enjoyment.

Don't bother with any adult entertainment. SC/SPs outside NYC stink. Inside NYC is incredible quality but with even more expensive prices (not worth it).

Shopping at outlet malls in upstate NY is about all I can recommend. Great deals.

Also look out for the New York State Police particularly on the Thruway. The flow of traffic moves well above the speed limit and they pick off someone every five or ten miles.

It is also a good six hours from Buffalo even going down I-81 from Syracuse to I-380 to I-80.

Ok. How about the Port Authority bus terminal, is that still there?
Indeed it is, but save perhaps late at night it is not the place of "white slavery pulp fiction" that supposedly it was a quarter century ago.
