Check out the conclusion page from the drop down menu for the low down on the Sony. The only major drawbacks I've heard are echoed in Phils review. ISO only goes to 1600 with artifacts on 800 and 1600. The hotshoe is proprietary making accessories expensive or hard to find. M2
