Another Plane Of Existence
It was a busy first day of the new year, stabbings all across Canada, people run over in Calgary, shootings, etc.

Yay.

BTW, one of the victims from the Boxing Day shooting was hit 4 times in the leg and ankle!!!

Another very sad story. :( I agree something definatly has to be done there is too many gangs by the sounds of it and too many guns on the street.

Between a rock and a hard place
Unlike the gunning down of Jane Creba, this was not accidental but more of an execution. The gunman who was released after his involvement in another shooting just 3 years ago. He aimed and shot his victim in the head -- stalked and surprised him while he sat in his own car. So many of these crimes are being committed by repeat offenders, clearly the law is falling down on the issue of sentencing and bail.

I am just thinking now the saddest part is that these shot individuals are so young, for sure the parents are going to be really saddened now. These shot individuals have not even had a chance to re populate the earth. That could help to lessen the grief to a parent. Any parent would be happy to take in a child of a loved one such as thier own child at least then they still have a part of thier child to hold onto. It is the youth that we need to protect. Again my sympathies to the parents.

I meant accidental in that she got caught in the line of fire. No one was aiming for her specifically. The carelessness of this incident is far more criminal than a hunting accident, but accidental nonetheless. Sadly, the courts will take this into consideration.

I heard Spider Jones going off on the news yesterday insinuating that because a white girl was shot, there was more attention being given. I respect this man for speaking his mind on many occasions, but I think he is way off base here.
Most if the people killed in the last year weren't your average good citizen types. They had pictures of all the "victims" in the Sun yesterday and most of the pictures were taken from their own mugshots. What does that tell you about the background of these so called victims. Of the others who were killed, they were in one way or another associated with bad elements and should of known the risks involved.

I don't care if these animals want to kill each other..... just do it somewhere out of the public.

Haven't heard him much, so can't say anything about his comment.
Except, what a fucking retard.
It's because, literally, innocence was lost that day.
Just hit me that the cop said that at the press conference, and I didn't mean Toronto's innocence, I meant hers.

Interesting. I saw most of the photo's and the majority were not mug shoots. In fact most looked like normal pictures. Where did you get "most" were taken from mug shots?
