The idea is that you can evaluate an image better than you can evaluate text. I'm not going to explain why this is a stupid idea, but why don't you try to research some topic on Google and then try to do the same on searchme.danmand said:

I think the feature of categorizing the search results into groups is brilliant.
The advantage to text is that you're putting things in a very useful context. In text, you judge results based on the words that come before and after your search term. After a while you learn to filter out the noise. You'll never get anything like that on searchme. It just does not compete.danmand said:

It's also a really bad idea to restrict groups by using pre-made images. You'll notice they don't have a group for porn.

PS: I am still willing to give this visual thing a chance. I tried to search for "chicken egg incubator"
and found the visual pages helpful, although it is faster to scan a full page of results on Google
than to flip through a whole lot of pages.
