New MP 509 Gladstone

I guess we are good for the economy because another massage parlor is open at 508 Gladstone. I saw it in the Ottawa Sun on Wednesday. The way things are in Ottawa/Hull the owner must already have a existing location. It is just a matter of time before we find that out.

I actually heard about this place from a CFRA listner on one of the those talk shows last week.
The caller was a neighbor of the this place and was ranting and raving about all the negtivity of Massage Parlours.He went on about all the unlicensed MPs in town and in the Sun etc...
He went as far as to say he has called the mayor and coucillor(s) and had police out to his place etc......(what a raving lunatic)
I am sure the place is like any other MP in the area BUT this guy scares me. Who knows,maybe hes watching and taking videos or pictures of people coming in/out. Be careful.

I'm not a neighbor to a massage parlour so I don't know how this person feels. They are not loud, they don't hold teenage parties t'il 4am. Most closed by 10-11 pm light out. No drugs, no booze at any time. Really then it has to be better to live on Gladstone next to a massage parlor then it would be on Bank St, Elgin or in the Market. I least you can sleep at night after getting a good massage.
I think I will stay away for a while and check here to see if this person confront anyone

Couple of points;
JPsoHot- I suspect the weirdo was probably talking about 590 Gladstone with it's single obvious entrance. 508 is center of a small mall, upstairs with 5 other businesses so the guy's going to take a lot of pictures without knowing who's who (unless it's those broad smiles when we leave).
The owner is Julie who had her own apartment on gloucester about 6 months back. I haven't been yet so I can't comment on the service. Sorry.

That guy is a non-sense. It's not like Gladstone a quiet residential neigbourhood. I know people may not happy with bunch of horny guys coming in and out. But come on! There are lots of store along Gladstone and some street walkers in this area in the past. He should be taking care something else.

A 'Pariso' travel agency is one of the 5 other businesses upstairs and they have their number in the window. Perhaps that's who you called.

I think someone must have mixed up 508 Gladstone with 590 Gladstone
and have caused so much misunderstanding and worries!!

I went to Spa Shangrila at 508 Gladstone today, and I am glad to see
Julie ( previouly from Gloucester) in her new M.P. The place is very clean
and cozy with nice shower in the room. The massage is excellent, as
usual, ( one of the best in town, I would say! ) and good services. Very
relaxing ! I would not hesitate to go back for a good massage.

The story is dealing with 590 Gladstone, Fantasy spa. I don't know what's happening but I do know that the mp's with licences have paid for the zoning check, building inspection, health inspection and fire inspection,liability insurance and the application indicates the second floor. Many MP's in ottawa are on the second floor. The rule states that in an apartment building a 'personal services' must be on the first floor (like body care) or basement. One would like to think that after all the trouble and expense of obtaining a licence there would be some protection from a grumpy neighbor. (assuming the mp's are keeping their nose clean).

Reviving this nearly 16 year old thread because they still appear to be in business, based on a Kijiji ad today and google street view image from last year. The title should be 508, not 509 Gladstone. Does anyone have recent intel on this place? They must be doing something right, to still be in business at the same location after all these years.
