So, I suspect that Shia LeBeouf is being groomed to be his replacement, to get us used to the idea of someone else.

For example, it was difficult and maybe impossible for some to get used to Hayden Christenson and Natalie Portman instead of Mark Hamil and Carrie Fisher.

They already tried to groom a Young Indiana Jones television series a year or two ago. It didn't quite work out. Didn't have the same charm as the original Indiana Jones.

The young Indiana Jones Chronicles ran for three seasons from 1992-96. Most hour long series don't last that long.
