New Airport Security

The US and Canadian Airports, will be using a new machine for checking people boarding the aircraft, beginning on or about the 1st of July 2006. The new technology will make it virtually impossible to conceal weapons or illegal goods.

The X-ray like scanners are in-use at Heathrow. Elective to passengers that don't want the metal wands & pat-down. According to CNN news segment the software has smarts to mask out body parts so no infringe of privacy.
