I just had some last week (was meaning to post this then) and let me just say, it's the worst f'ing food you could possibly EVER eat. I haven't had it in such a long tim, so I thought, why not.
I felt sick after eating the 2 piece and fries and I didn't bother eating the 2nd box of their "Tooney Tuesday" special.
Save your coin, spend an extra $2-4 and get an overpriced sandwich a.k.a., a sub.
KFC is just crap.

The only crap I'll be eating from a fast food joint is after a club (not a SC, but one like the Guvernment or LOT332) is Taco Bell. Something about those fries supreme and alcohol that just goes well for that moment, but really sucks the next day. lol

I've had good success with KFC. Have usually enjoyed my meals there. Even comes out smoothly a few hours later.

The worst fried/bbq chicken I've had was in an airport.

This is not only with KFC. Golden Arches and others have some franchises where you can vomit from the foul smell even before eating anyting.
I got diarhea several times in Toronto after eating in fast food joints, and never got diarrhea in Cairo, Istanbul or Bankgkok, even when eating street foods.

Sniff the letuce in your burger before eating. Sometimes it has rotten smell, like taken from the garbage. People being paid $5/hour don't give a damn what you will eat.

And they say Toronto is 5th best city in the world to live in. Perhaps true for Bridlepath. In my view, for fast food, Toronto has the food service worse than Third World countries, but on First World prices. (public health inspections of restaurants were introduced only recently, but are joke - e.g. Pizza delivery drivers work in kitchen with food, without washing their hands and changing outside clothes)

And I did not touch the use of trans fats in food preparation, bordering on criminal neglect or deliberate poisoning.

Fast food joints can be compared with $60 BBBJ places - you end up paying more than it's really worth and you may end up with unwanted consequences you did not bargain for.

I have almost lost the urge to eat on the go because of that. Some Subway
locations, some Tim Horton's, some Mc Donald's outside of Toronto, that's it for me.

You know, I haven't been to KFC in years.

I rarely eat fast food anymore, with the lone exception being Wendys.

I don't particularly consider Subway being fast food, perhaps it is.

Pizza Pizza, I do order from there, it also varies hugely by franchise.

Anyway, if you order 20 wings from pizza pizza, it runs more than the lunch buffet at Mandarin where you eat all the wings you want till you explode. Mandarin also has all kinds of other food, much of it fairly healthy for less than 20 wings at Pizza Pizza, or for that matter KFC.

I live close to Mama Martinos on the Queensway and I can pop in there for a bowl of pasta, a coke, and be treated to Crystal's SPECTACULAR bosom for 10 bucks. It's hot, it's fresh, it's clean, and Crystal - it's hard to take your eyes off of her.

KFC?

Never even enters the thought process!
