Need some info re accomodation in Nassau, Bahamas.

I am going to the Bahamas this week and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a decent but not expensive hotel to stay at.

Cable Beach is my favorite and I usually go twice a year.

I always stay at the Radisson, all inclusive. We've been going for about 5-6 years now so they always take good care of us.

Ususally runs about $300-$350 US per day for all inclusive.

This is a nice place, off the beaten path, but almost on cable beach. I stayed there many years ago when it was being build. Family owned and operated, with reasonable rates.

Would anyone have any comments on either the Nassau Palm Resort & Conference Center or the Nassau beach Hotel?

Fabulous, I noticed on their website that the hotel is across the street from the beach. What is the beach like in that area and where would I locate it on a map?

I also have stayed at the Radisson. It was great and I heard that they renoveated just recently.
Next door is the casino and the beach is great.

Just down the beach is a place called Breezes. It was awesome last time I stayed there but a little pricey.

This will give you the rates for all the hotels/resorts in the area.

Personally I like staying at Atlantis on Paradise Island about a 10 min bus ride from Cable Beach. Some timeshares are available in that area for rental on short notice. These units have kitchens so if $$ is the problem, thats the cheapest way to vacation. Buses there are about a buck US the last time I recall using them.

Wyndham I believe is offering rooms this week around $120 a nite and Sandyport Beaches Resort around the same. I've stayed at Sandyport and its really nice. Not on the beach but thats a short walk away.

Sheik. Is that in US dollars? I am seeing $175 Cdn a night. Also, what is the best way to locate the time share availability?
