Mulcair had announced that the NDP was going to form a provincial party in Quebec. Quebec is the only province where the party is not represented provincially. Those plans have apparently been scrapped when it became increasingly clear that a majority of his support in the province already supported established provincial seperatist parties.

One has to think that Mulcair is now in a delicate position. With his power base being increasingly exposed as speratist provincially this will be difficult to spin in the next federal election

Interesting piece by Journal de Montreal journalist Eric Duhaime

Its only tempary, the NDP has struck a commitee to decide the issue of a Quebec wing.

It still won't happen for at least a couple of years, when Marious gets crushed next election I suspect that will be the time the NDP decides to strike.

And yes the NDP has some seperatists within the party, ever federalist party does, as Seperatists parties have federalists.

No body really gives a shit honestly, though that doesn't stop people from trying to manufacture a current national unity crisis where none exists, for political gain.

If you found out it can't be that 'quietly' and even the Sun knew about it. You rather they do it when not ready viable and fail, wouldn't you?
