Fast tracking legislation everyone agrees with is an easy one, but it's a good start. Hopefully the two sides will work together to make sure that future legislation is generally agreeable and more stuff will be fast tracked.

I highly doubt that there will be much collaboration going forward. The NDP and Conservatives agree on very little.

The Conservatives have the mandate to put THEIR agenda forward.
The public spoke.
If the NDP wants to support the election winner..that is their choice.
If not, they can be difficult and look like sore losers!!

Actually they might look like Her Majesty's Loyal Opposition, which is their mandate and every bit as legitimate as the Government's.

How long do you think it will take Layton to train his seal pups? They are younger and speak french so it might be awhile before they are allowed out in public alone.

The one thing you have to give the NDP credit for is being pragmatic and not battling just for the sake of battling.
