I've seen a number of providers post a willingness to sign NDAs (Non-Disclosure agreements), but I was wondering just what they actually accomplish in this case. In particular:
1. Can one really have an enforceable NDA for an activity that is illegal (which, as far as I can tell, paying to see an escort still is -- even if being an escort isn't)?
2. Do both parties need to use their real names for an NDA to be enforceable?
3. If you have signed a NDA with an escort before, what are the consequences of breaking the NDA usually listed as being?
I've seen them set up in ways that might prevent someone from putting your time together in a paid gig like a book or a movie, but does it really have any bite vis a vis gossiping with their friends about it or even posting about it on twitter?
I realize that we hope that most reputable escorts are going to refrain from doing that anyway (and from what I've seen from their twitter feeds, they usually are remarkably discrete), I'm just wondering if the NDA actually adds anything to the discretion that we are relying on anyway....
