Speaking of the playoffs, the suspension of Garnet is bullshit. This is real problem with the NBA. Yeah, Garnet threw an elbow, but he was provoked, Pierce seemed hurt so it was an emotional moment anyways, and the playoffs are hyper-intense. Reminds me of the Spurs-Suns suspensions a few years ago. You get a second tier player to provoke the best player on the other team and then hope that player responds. So a nothing player on Miami gets rewarded for provoking KG. These kinds of suspensions will only encourage shitty players to provoke star players in the future. The league should smarten up. If a shit player provokes the star player in the last minutes of a game, the league should not reward that sort of behavior. They are robbing the fans.
For me, this taints the Boston-Miami series. I want to see the best players on the floor. Instead, the league is helping to decide the outcome of the series. It's bad enough that the refs are suspect.
