I don't know if anyone else watched the lakers/kings game last night, but could the refs have fixed that game any more? the 4th quarter the kings couldn't move without getting a foul called against them, and then at the end of the game lakers up one Kobe Bryant elbowed Mike Bibby in the head knocking him on his ass, should have been a 2 shot foul, and not only did they not get the call to stop Bibby from bleeding they had to call there last time out, meaning they couldn't get a decent shot to end the game. It's obvious the refs were told to do whatever they could to get a game 7 to increase ad revenue for sunday. this game was an embarrasment to pro sports.

The officiating has definitely kept the Lakers in this series. Of course, the flukey Horry trey in game 4 helped too.

I 'd love to see the Kings win, but I think they're up against it now, even at home.

I knew Horry's 3 was going in the second he got the ball. one game winning last second 3 in the playoffs is luck. I think that was his 4th.

The flukey part was how he got the ball. Vlade spanks away a rebound right into his hands.

Yes, the officiating is totally rigged. Game 5 was just a rip off too. I don't know if anyone noticed but there was a late 3 pointer at the end of the first half that Simaki Walker got that shouldn't have counted, because it was still in his hands when the time was up. I can't believe the refs missed that when all my drinking buddies and I saw it.

As you all know, "everyone" loves the Lake-show. So they have to get them into the NBA final.

Does anyone remember when LA was playing the Grizzlies last year. The Lakers needed a basket to win with a few seconds left in the game. The ball got to Shaq under the basket with 1.2 seconds left and the game clock miraculously stopped/stalled for 2 seconds and then resumed. If I remember correctly, the ball was still in Shaq's hands when time was up, he then did a late lay-up and he was awarded the winning basket. Not only do they slow down the clock when the Lakers need it, all the referrees somehow blink all at the same time. What, the Lakers aren't allowed to lose to the Grizz?

An Mp close to you!!!
I truly believe that the Kings are a better team 5 on 5, but when you have to beat 7.5 guys on the floor at the same time it's kinda tough for any team!!! (1.5 for Shaq, 4 other Lakers and 2 officals!!)

Good first half. I have a feeling that Stojakovic (sp?) will be a deciding factor.

I hate to admit it, but Kobe is way the best player in the league (probably as good as MJ).

kobe's not MJ, but he's probably the best player in the game (although if I could build a franchise around any player in the league it would be Jason Kidd)

Remember when Shaq couldn't make a free throw to save his life?

well, at least game 7 was called even, but the kings should have one game 6 so this hole finals is a crock before it starts (GO NETS!)
I wonder what happens with Bibby this offseason as he's a free agent, and the kings are already paying Webber a max contract he doesn't deserve (never steps up in the clutch) so they might not keep him, I know the Raps will never get him (they like Alvin and wont make a switch) but I'm interested to see what happens.

but if they sign him what happens to stojakovic when his contract comes up next year? No way they can afford all three of those guys. Plus Turkolou only has a year or two left, plus the money Christie and Divac makes, and considering this is supposed to be Webber's team how will he respond to Bibby taking the leadership role? Hey I can hope he moves can't I? I doubt it though since Andre Miller is available to trade for and IMHO is a better PG.
