Ron Artest and Stephen Jackson are suspended again! They are both suspended for the first 7 games of the season. I personally think that they should have been hit with a harder suspension, but then again I don't run a professional sports organization.

Okay I have something to say. I am not agreeing with this suspension and heres why. This is a domestic dispute and it happened in his home. What if this chick is lying and he only maybe shoved her once OR didnt touch her at all? I think it said he payed fines already for this and is doing community service. Right now the guy is in Africa for a good cause. Why would they suspend him ontop of that? So beacause of this his wife can say he did this to her and that and right away he goes to jail, pays fines in the thous and ontop of that the NBA will suspend him and have him pay more fines???

Thats not right... The Jackson case was justified he had a gun for petes sake..lol

a lot of athletes these days are seen as spoiled punks getting paid a lot of money and getting away with whatever. At least the NBA sees the PR damage criminal charges can do to their overall product and are doing something about it, at least on paper. 7 games at the start of the season is nothing anyways.
