i agree with all your picks mojo!

i cant see how vince even gets to be an all-star this time around. raps all-star picks should be bosh and/or alston, based on play so far this young year.

LeBron is a 3 forward. He doesn't play guard. Hasn't all season.
He'd be out of position. He's a true small forward [oxymoron]
that adds the skills of a point guard [assists] shooting guard
[his 3-point % is way up from last year] and a power forward
[can rebound with most power forwards]

I don't think his best position is guard.
Iverson would be a better choice at the 2-guard position.
Artest will never make the all-star team. nevernevernever.
I said he CAN play point. and he has in the past i know. Besides he's listed under the balloting as a guard. Take it up with them ;) hes my pick and deserves to be on the floor

Lebraun plays as a shooting guard and sometimes the point.

McGrady plays the 3 spot. Although a lot of the plays run for him start him at the 2.

You can now officially write off Artest.

And lastly, I want to like Bosh, he was drafted 3rd in the draft. Dwayne Wade was forth. If the Raps had taken him they would have been able to trade for a talented big man. Instead they tried to make Bosh play a position that he was uncomfortable in. To me Bosh will always represent the Wade that got away.

After seeing Bosh play today, I firmly believe he is on his way to being a top 10 PF in the league. He is becoming more confident. Duncan praised him quite a bit after the game during which Bosh blew by him a few times going hard to the basket.

Also, Bosh was drafted 4th. Carmelo Anthony was drafted 3rd overall after Darko and Lebron.

ballgame, i do not think the raps will ever regret drafting bosh, and not wade. both are turning into very good players, with unlimited potential, and both the heat and raps will be happy with them both. and yes, as previously stated, cb4 was drafted 4th, remember the look on vince carter's face when the raps got the 4th pick that year, in the lottery draft order? well vinny, that ball represents the guy, who will take over from you, make that, HAS taken over from you as the face of the franchise. funny how things turn out.

How in the hell can we be judging all-stars after 9 games? Are we supposed to be using the second half of last season? It seems stupid to have ballots out this soon.
This just reemphasizes that the All-star game is a popularity contest and not a display of the best players.

My picks:

West

G - Nash
G - Allen
C - Mihm (just kidding! Yao, of course)
F - Brand
F - Garnett

East

G- Marbury
G - Francis
C - Wallace
F - Pierce
F - O'Neal

I admit I'm a homer, and therefore chose Marbury ahead of say, Wade, Iverson, or even Billups. Brand is a player I just like, and he never gets any recognition. Allen is playing like he is unconscious, and Nash has just been unbelievable in Phoenix. And, if I am not mistaken, Yao is Yao Ming's last name. In Chinese custom, last names always come first, so I believe his name is actually Ming Yao.

Oh man, I just can't escape this Mihm thing. It's like dog sh*t on my shoe. Ok, even though as I said it's too early, here are a few deserving players having good years that will probably get overlooked

Grant Hill 21-6-4
Boozer 20-10
Andrei Kirilenko 15-8-5
Zack Randolph 22-12
Shawn Marion 19-12
Richard Jefferson 22-10
Antoine Jamison 24-9

Honorable Mention

Bibby 17-6 assists
Webber 19-10
Desmond Mason 18-4
Gasol 18-8
Pedja 20-4
