My rant for today ...

Al I wanted was one "over the top" photo that I can brag about and send out as a sample work I've been getting enquiries about ... so I thought I was doing the smart thing and hired a "professional model" ... seems she was more interested in the $$ to probably cover rent, than the images from the shoot.

One shot is all I wanted ... 30 minutes ... $100 ... and nothing I want to even edit came from it. A collosal waste of my time, creativity and money. A shot taken with someone who supposedly knows what they are doing, to make someone say "F*CK THAT'S HOT!" when they see it ... I wanted one shot that had Porn Star written all over it, and got something resembling craigslist.

I think that was the last time I hiire someone for portfolio photos.

Crazy question, but do you have any female friends who might be up for the task?

I had thought of that option, but it creates a whole set of issues around concealing identity, and showing more than they'd like to in the case of an SP or MP. My friends outside of this business aren't 100% aware of the genre of some of my work...lol

If the photos I wanted were to be pretty, playful and artsy, I'm sure that I'd have a lineup ... I'm looking for tawdry, seedy and a little dirty

I'm certain that I would have had more than a few ideas work out with you in front of the camera. Next time I'm in the Falls I may take you up on that if I can figure out how to get the same pictures from a location like the one you're in.

It wouldn't be the first request from an SP to be tied up and blindfolded for photos ... but I don't think that's the kind of photos she was hoping for

My POF headline maybe shoud read .. "Wanted: Camera Slut" ...haha

Afterthought: I have an odd curiosity that Lisa of Toronto might be fun to get a few drinks into and in front of the camera ... whether that would be a wise decision or not is another story...lol

That might be a shoot to use poonhunter's blindfolded and tied up idea. It was more curiosity than one I'd actualy consider ... you saying I might need therapy after doing photos with her? lol

Maybe I should get a few into me before a shoot and see what kind of photos I get.
