Pissing me off this week:
1/ Youth violence - Getting out of control? F’ing right! When I was in school and you had a problem a quick little punch up usually was all that happened. No weapons, no swarmings, no killings. What's to blame for things now – TV/music/movies?, video games? The US? How do we stop it all?
2/ Karla Homolka – Walks free next summer! Justice served? Ha. All I can say is she better be in some sort of identity protection program man.
3/ The Snowbirds - Lost another fine pilot in a crash this week. I’m pissed at the “critics� who come out of the woodwork saying “disband them�, “we can’t afford them�, “their aircraft are old and unsafe�. F' you all. Reports have said the cost for operating the team comes to around $ 7 million a year. Mouse nuts in a $13 billion budget if you ask me. And don’t you think if anyone was saying the aircraft were not safe and capable it would be the guys on the team? No pilots would try the stuff they do without total confidence in their rides. I’ve seen them perform numerous times and always feel so proud. Have even seen them perform back to back at events with the American Thunderbirds and Blue Angels with their high tech F-16’s and F-18’s, during which, everytime, the Snowbirds have totally blown them out of the air. They absolutely fly circles around them. No comparison.
