What started out as just another Monday morning drive into work ended up being so much more. As I drove toward my office, thoughts of where I'd much rather be heading ran through my mind. With that I reached out with a quick text to Fanny in hopes that the by some small miracle she'd be able to see me on such short notice. Luckily for me she replied telling me that she could see me in the next hour. Needless to say but a coffee run to Tim's and a fill up at the Costco pumps before arriving took up this time perfectly. Once the door opened I was greeted with
a nice warm hug and a big welcoming smile. Just exactly what I needed to start my day off with given the slippery road conditions. Inside we wasted no time getting comfortable and any thought of the cold wintery morning outside became but a distant memory. Eventually as we said our goodbyes at the door, my next stop would be to a lottery kiosk with hopes that the good luck from my earlier texting would carry on and I/d be a winner yet again.
