I didn't think Harper was passionate enough. That said what he did say made perfect common sense. How can we have a stable coalition with separatists and with such a weak leader (Dion) who won't even be there in 6 months. This is a travesty!

I will never vote liberal ever, there might have been a chance before this, but now for sure the NDP and the Liberals won't see my vote. Hell why even vote, they can just change governments just like this. I'm sorry this is bullshit. Dion, I can't even stand the sight of him.

Was it a travesty when he tried to do the same thing? Or when Stockwell tried to do it before that? Harper had a great chance tonight to be a statesman and he couldn't get past the petty partisan politics. What a shame (or sham - not sure which)

It certainly already has. Even if, somehow, the Cons manage to survive this debacle Harper will be out on his ass. After such a monumental screw up they're not going to give him another chance (assuming that they have any sort of brain power and survival instinct, that is).
