It may start for adults, but kids will soon be watching it too. When the Simpsons first started it was for adults, same for South Park, and Family Guy, but now all have a big kid/teen following.

remember that Jim Henson's first break was on SNL, so this isn't that suprising. especially if you've ever met a puppeteer, as a group they are very strange people.

If Saturday Night Live's First broardcast was October of 1975, and Sesame Street's first broadcast was November of 1969. How did Jim Henson get his first big break on Saturday Night Live?

They are not all tha 'adult friendly'. Back in mid '90s Barbie Doll Benson a feature dancer and also a fav client of mine at the time was forced to stop using Kermit and other Muppet show content in her stage show under threat of being sued by them. They were not impressed at all.

ok so I had that wrong, but I know Henson had some puppet characters on SNL for at least the first year

When I was in college in '79 a friend's roommate had a Kermit and a Miss Piggy with velcro on their hands and feet. We where forever leaving them in very provocative poses in her room. The only question I have is this. If Kermit does Miss Piggy is this a case of beastiality?

I was a youngster long before sesame Street but my son loved it. I always liked the doggedness and single minded purpose with which Cookie Monster went about his day.

We live in a sick twisted fucked up world.
I hope they don't go through with it, oh well...guess we have to see and wait.
