I've felt the same desire. To "branch out". I love PA and am very loyal to them, but I've really felt the need to find out what else is out there.
Last month I ventured into Toronto. (The MPA in question has since retired.) The service was top shelf I will admit, but the facility was a DUMP. I felt at times when I was in the shower as if I was going to fall through the floor because the step it was on hadn't been braced properly. In fact, compared to the new PA showers, I felt VERY claustrophobic. (I think the good service speaks more towards the MPA than the spa itself.)
I'm not saying there are not good spas in Toronto. There are. But at the same time, I think a lot of people who like to poke at PA haven't been anywhere else, because we have a
treasure right here in Durham and people (like myself) who are loyal to it are loyal for a reason.
