Hello Out There!

I've been happily using Kazaa lite for a while and would like to contribute instead of just consume. I have a large CD library, but am wondering what people use to convert them to MP3 format? I would appreciate if someone could point me in the direction of a user friendly program that could do this. Oh ya, and while I'm on the subject, does anyone know a program that can even out the volume of the music? There's nothing more unsettling than having to turn up and down the volume. Thanks for your help!

some of the burning software will normalize the volume when you burn a disc.

I believe that you can use Mediaplayer to convert your CD's to mp3 or I like MusicMatch Jukebox.. you can download that off of kazaa.. with a serial.. that will also probably help you with your volume problem

For ripping music I use Audio grabber. There's a free version ,or for about $ 20 US you get a full version, it works great, has user settings , even has a forum for asking questions and the support network is fabulous, it has normalizing software in it, but audiograbber suggests using MP3 Gain for normalizing,.I have even burned copy protected discs that wouldnt burn through Roxio or Nero by grabbong the tracks with audiograbber and them burning them (in original format or in Mp3 format)onto a cd
Both products are available for download off the net
if you need any help, pm me
