Is there a (preferably free) program out there that let's you make video clips from DVDs? Say I have a movie DVD and I want to take a couple 3 minute sections to insert into a presentation via hyperlink. What program would let me actually make a clip from the 55:43 mark in the movie to the 58:43 mark, etc, and save it as an mpeg or something similar? I found no info in tech forum and the only thing I found on google was DVD Ripper, which costs $35 US plus tax. Not worth it for the couple clips I want to cut out and insert into one presentation. Thanks kindly

Heaven, definately Heaven
Sorry, I use a DVD-Recorder HDD editing hardware device (aka: a DVD-Recorder with a harddrive and make the edits there), plus a Japanese hardware device that bypasses the two (2) macrovision encoders and the copyright marker into the HDD, then make a DVD-R from that, take the DVD-R to the computer and use a .vdb -> .mp4 converter program.
