I heard somewhere that the makers first asked Hulk Hogan to be the spokesperson for the grill, he was too busy with wrestling making millions and thought of the grill as worthless piece of sh*t that he refused, so they asked Geroge Foreman instead. Now many years later, Hogan decided to do this:

On Hulks show "Hogan Knows Best" he talked about the George foreman grill and said that they had the same manager during that period and hogan turned down the grill and came out with a blender instead. He said it was one of the stupidest things he has ever not done.

Same company gave this idea to him and he ran with it.
