Once again, why do people come here instead of going to the DOT website? I mean, do you think we know something they don't?

Honestly, is it just me or are people just too lazy to do their own research?

Now Rhibes, why would you come to an escort review site to find out about a motorcycle licence instead of going to a site that will be telling you the exact procedure for getting a licence?

It makes sense when you think about it - we know our pussy so we must know everything else.
Its just you.

This is the general area for questions so give the guy a break. You could also ask the same question as to why anyone asks anything non-hobby related on here - but aren't we here to help our fellow hobbyists out???

I took mine last year and am enjoying a new hobby now on top of the 'hobby'. You can take a course at Humber or Centennial for around $390 or so that will give you one night of instruction and then provide you with a small motorcycle to learn on over the weekend. At the end of the weekend, you take the test to get your M2 license. If you pass, you get some of the restrictions lifted (ie. no night riding, no 400 series highways, etc) and if not, well....enjoy the daytime side streets!

Considering that there are threads in here about camping accessories, spilled chinese food, Wendy's time clocks, etc., just about anything is apropos here.

Besides, sheik could probably answer this and give his insight.

And I will bet that the majority of the posts here will be like the one on fences in etobicoke, referring him to the correct website to go to......

As for posts about where to find good chinese/burgers/dogfood, those are opinions, not at all like this question. He didn't ask what was on the various tests, he asked what the procedure was....and to get correct information, he will STILL have to go to the DOT website.

I guess it's just me, if I need info on liquid silicone rubber, I would do a search on the web for it. If I need info on how to do work on my truck, heaven forbid I will go to a site that talks about working on an F150.....

What I'd like to see is:

Hello, I've searched the web on how to obtain a motorcycle licence and the DOT website is a little vague on what the test entails. ANyone here taken it? How difficult is it? What specific areas do they cover?
