Man that shit kicks ass.
I had to get a shot the other day at the hospital for some pretty severe pain in my lower back area.
I can't understand how people like the stuff or get hooked on it. I suppose I could, but it's definitely not for me. It's like you just got walloped in the chest with something insanely heavy and your heart starts to race.

I use to have to take it for a couple surgeries that I had when I broke a few ribs...

I hated it too...made the pain go away...but I was paranoid and very itchy..could never sleep.

Codeine is pretty good for pain. I think u can get that over the counter.

T3 I found isn't too heavy, but it can block you up and good luck with bowel movements. lol
Valium is the choice hospital drug if you have a choice. After this first morphine hit of mine, if I'm ever told I'm gonna get again, I'll beg for valium instead. lol

People react differently. The quality of the morphine also makes a huge difference on side-effects like itching, nausea, etc.

Ahh, you had a drip, I got a big ass injection via the IV fluids, like a Monster Truck hitting me.
I'm sure drip would be a much nicer way.

I understand the drip to be the bag, no? My IV saline and Tortul C (anti-flammatory) was through the drip method.
What I saw and got was a monsterous size syringe and a whole lot of fluid in it and she just injected it into me at once, via the IV tube running into the top side of my hand.
I vaguely heard her say to me (little buzzed at the time) the reason I got the amount I did was my height/weight (6'3/200) and my pain level was high at the time so they wanted it to hit me hard and fast, before that she had to take my blood pressure to make sure I was fine for it.

I was talking to a coworker about what he takes for his back surgery pain...

He said endocet, said they are the only thing that works and still leaves him functioning. However, I think he might be addicted.
His drawer has bottles of the stuff...

I honestly dont know, bro!!

For me it was an IV drip into my IV. Thats all I remember.
But that stuff was killa!!!! I was on a different planet altogether. There was no going back!!!
