The ad states that it is non-sexual, but, as I've learned about Thai massage, this does not necessarily mean exactly that, at least according to the North American definition.

I made an appt a while ago with another Thai massage practitioner, and only after I had done so, did I notice that a release was available. The thing is, it's not a sexual thing, per se. It's about energy and that type of thing. I actually spoke at great length with that woman, and she was quite earnest about it being a legitimate, non-sexual part of certain Thai techniques. Curiosity got the best of me, so I changed my original appointment to include that, and wasn't disappointed, but YMMV. It was fully clothed, no touching, but what I thought would be quite clinical turned out to be very enjoyable. The lady got up on the table, sitting in front of me, and put her legs along side of my body and did her thing. She encouraged me to grab hold of her legs, be vocal, move around as much as I wanted, and generally let myself go.

I talked to her again a little after the appointment, and she assured me it's something that is taught in Thailand (where she studied) and has to do with one's sexual energy, or blockages, that sort of thing. She didn't charge any more for this type of appointment than a 'normal' Thai massage, either.

As for the one in question, you'd have to inquire yourself, and I wouldn't be afraid to - but don't use typical language or acronyms would be my advice.

I sent her a message asking for the sacred lingham massage and all the other correct, polite terms and she responded very politely that she doesn't offer that..she states that she got into massage to heal her husband so I guess that no means no..

I'm reluctant to, as I don't think she quite fits here. I'm not trying to keep it a secret or anything, I just don't think it falls into the Terb categories.

I spent a fair amount of time talking to her before and after about Thai massage in general, and this style in particular. She's an earnest and well-trained woman, and actually quite interesting. The fact that she took so much time talking to me shows her dedication to what she does.

In short, it's not a sexual thing, rather it's spiritual and health-related, and for over-all well-being, and fits under the holistic category, IMO.

I got numerous pm's about this, so I apologize. I brought up my experience with her more to show that, with real Thai massage, this sort of thing may, possibly be offered by true practitioners, and that it's generally not a purely sexual thing, so don't be afraid to inquire. The lady in question above stated that what she offered was "not sexual" (or however she worded it in her ad). What I learned, more or less, is that in certain areas of Thai massage, a release is not sexual, in the way that we North Americans see it - so don't be afraid to inquire (in a professional way), I guess. This does not mean by any stretch that all Thai practitioners offer this style, but I'd be inclined to believe that true Thai massage practitioners (especially those trained in Thailand) would not take much, if any, offense to (properly worded) inquiries about it, as it is a legitimate style of massage with holistic health benefits, and they would likely know about it.

The thing is, this type of massage is generally for people (especially older) who have sexual "blockages", or ED, or trouble urinating, etc etc etc. Or, as I understood it, "sexual energy blockages". If you believe in that type of thing - holistic healing, etc. - that's what it's for, it's not a rub and tug :)

Got a similar experience, it was part of a Tantric massage. There is nothing sexual as you described, it's more to release energy and blockages. Still felt good and relaxing 😊
