Pro boxing in Ontario on a grande stage has been virtually non existant for a very long time. Moreover there has been no wherewithall to revive or grow the sport we all love here in Ontario. Till now that is....Had there been no TKO at Rama, had the south african been somehow by the grace of god (and I dont think even god could take being hit to the body like Takalani was!) been able to hang on till the final bell, the outcome amongst the media and those in attendence still would have been the same in my humble opinion. The Kid put on a clinic.. his game is near perfectly rounded and he is so very smart, constantly adjusting to the attack of his opponent. Really man, that footwork and counterpuching speed was sick, truely world class!
I have several old school friends who have no real big prior intrest in boxing that attended the venue on my recomedation(one being a good friends father who is a very passive and non combative type guy was in his own words "blown away" by the atmosphere and Steve in general) who could not say enough about the fight, and want to know when the next fight is and where, that goes for a pile of friends who stayed home to watch, I guarentee they will be at his next one if it close by. My point being I am just one... how many who attended have friends in the same boat who are now very interested in seeing the Kid fight in person... tonnes!, I would bet the farm!. Molitor has given the professional circuit in Ontario a huge shot of adrenalin and for that all fight fans and boxers in this province need to get behind him show their thanks! They all know now what we at the Alliance have known for a long time..... no disrespect to Ivander but...
Molitor is also very much "THE REAL DEAL!!!"
