I preface my comments today by saying I only listen to the game sunday but have viewed this loser on other occasions,,,the Yankees were smart getting rid of this bum,,,Hes no Benji Molina who did not mind even though he couldnt outrun a bulldozer,,Jose is the total opposite,,today he cost Romero the game,,Yes Romero threw some pitches in the dirt but Molina was brutal letting pitch after pitch get by him,,He made no effort to block anything. Even Alan Ashby stated it was 1 of the worst catching performances hes seen. Bring up Chavez or a young backstop. Molina should be released after his dismal performances,,,,

You have a short memory. How about the game where he shot down all but one base stealer. I believe it was 3 of 4 and he's had the best record for gunning down runners for a good time and they don't try much. Remember Greg Zorn? Molina does a good job, not a great job. Who do you suggest they use instead?

I was listening to the game on the radio and Alan Ashby just ripped Jose molina for those past balls that got by him. Its was funny.
Thats all he can do, he cants hit or stop balls in the dirt. I honelsy dont know how much longer they will keep him, But then again, what do i know.
Molina is just a backup catcher to fill in for Buck every now and then. Apparently they have two good catchers in the farm system that are blue chip prospects, so my thinking is to buy some time this year to let the kids develop a little bit longer on the farm.
