North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) said it responded to reports of bomb threats aboard three commercial flights at Calgary International Airport, shortly after 2 p.m. Monday.
In an emailed response, NORAD confirmed the three planes from Germany were able to land without incident at the airport after "the threats were determined to be not credible."
Out of an abundance of caution, NORAD said CF-18 aircraft, F-15 fighter aircraft and supporting aerial refuelling aircraft were deployed after Canadian authorities received the reports.
